SNEAK Arcade

For the launch of Sneak Arcade, we to bring the concept to life with more than just content, we wanted to create something the SNEAK community could actually play, a working SNEAK arcade game. So, with zero game design experience and a bucketload of unwarranted confidence, I decided to build one myself.

A few weeks of tutorials, reddit forums and many many trials and errors later, Sneak Fighter was born: a retro-inspired beat 'em up starring the Sneak Bunny, built from scratch to tap into the arcade nostalgia our audience grew up with. I designed the whole world around Sneak, layering in details for our most engaged fans to find - 8-bit Fuel Different posters, hidden easter eggs, an evil Monster Can waiting as the final boss. Giving it its own dedicated URL turned the launch into a standalone, shareable experience that outlived the collection itself.

It's had over 7,000 plays, with nearly half of players sticking around for at least 15 minutes. Not bad for a first attempt at game design.
